# Counselling for Delta, with Camille

Updated October 16, 2026

Camille works with clients in Delta entirely by secure video. What changes is what getting to an appointment in person would have cost you, and that is the part this removes.

Three communities sharing a municipality and almost nothing else, including how hard it is to reach a counsellor.

Delta is one municipality containing three places that do not much resemble each other. North Delta sits against Surrey and shares its communities and its pace. Ladner is a smaller, older river town. Tsawwassen is at the end of a peninsula with a ferry terminal on it. "A counsellor in Delta" tells a resident of any of the three almost nothing about whether that counsellor is reachable.

What they have in common is that local provision is thin relative to the population, and that reaching the Lower Mainland's depth of specialists means a drive that is longer than the map suggests, through a tunnel that decides how long your evening takes.

Her focus is trauma, anxiety and chronic stress, grief, loss and life transitions. Sessions run in English or Tagalog, including moving between them within one session.

## Why a video session suits Delta

- **The tunnel stops mattering**

  ,

No appointment is scheduled around traffic that cannot be predicted a week ahead.
- **All three communities**

  ,

North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen on identical terms, the municipal boundary changes nothing.
- **No local clinic to be seen at**

  ,

The privacy concern that keeps many people in a close community from booking at all.
- **English or Tagalog**

  ,

Including moving between them inside one session, which is how most bilingual people actually think.

## Sessions in English or Tagalog

Camille works in English and Tagalog, including moving between them inside one session. For a lot of people that is the difference between explaining a feeling and being understood the first time, and it does not require travelling to a bigger city to find it.

## What Camille works with

### Trauma

Difficult or overwhelming experiences, worked through at a pace you set, building safety and a sense of control first, rather than going straight at the hardest thing.

### Anxiety and chronic stress

The patterns underneath high-functioning anxiety, perfectionism and burnout. The kind almost nobody around you can see, because you are still delivering.

### Grief, loss and life transitions

Room for the changes you chose and the ones you did not: endings, identity shifts, and the uncertainty that arrives with them.

### Camille may suit you if you are

- Anxious, overwhelmed, burnt out, or running on empty
- In the middle of a big change, a relationship, a move, a loss
- Carrying something from before that still shapes how you feel and how you are with people
- Tired of perfectionism, people-pleasing, or never quite feeling like enough
- Trying to make sense of yourself alongside culture, family expectations, and what got handed down
- Disconnected from your body, your feelings, or who you actually are
- Wanting better relationships and boundaries that hold
- Looking for someone who brings warmth and practical tools, not just listening

Every region of the province, from one virtual practice.

> You do not need to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes knowing that something is not working any more is enough of a reason to begin.

## Questions people in Delta ask

**Do you cover North Delta, Ladner and Tsawwassen?**

Yes, all three and on the same terms. The practice is virtual and covers all of British Columbia, so where in Delta you live changes nothing about availability or fee.

**I work shifts at the port. Can counselling fit around that?**

Yes, and planning for it from the start works better than discovering it later. Booking block by block around a roster, with gaps between blocks, is a normal pattern and pausing costs nothing.

**There are counsellors in Delta already. Why this?**

For plenty of people there is no reason, and you would be told so on a consultation call. What a local option costs some people here is the privacy question, a familiar waiting room in a community where families know each other. A practice with no office anywhere removes the question.

**Which health authority covers Delta?**

Fraser Health. Worth confirming before joining a public waitlist, since a referral into the wrong authority's queue is a delay that tends to surface only when you chase it.

**Can sessions be in Tagalog?**

Yes: in English or Tagalog, or moving between them as the conversation needs. Most people switch without planning to, particularly when something is hard to say, and nothing about the session requires picking one and staying there.
